1 Send money to Shakepay
- Open your bank’s app and find Interac e-Transfer.
- Send the amount shown on your order to your Shakepay account.
- Use the email address you signed up with on Shakepay.
- The money usually lands in Shakepay within a few minutes.
Use Interac e-Transfer, not a bank wire. It’s faster, free, and the standard way to fund Shakepay in Canada.
2 Buy Bitcoin on Shakepay
- Open the Shakepay app and log in.
- Tap the blue arrows at the bottom in the middle.
- Enter the amount shown on your order. Add a small buffer for price movement.
- Tap Review order, then tap Buy Bitcoin.
Your Bitcoin is ready instantly. Once the buy confirms, you can send it right away.
3 Place your order and pay
- Go to our website and place your order like normal.
- You’ll go straight to the payment page. It shows a QR code and a Bitcoin address.
- Open Shakepay → tap the blue arrows → tap Send.
- Tap Bitcoin, then Send Bitcoin.
- Scan the QR code, or copy the address and paste it in.
- Enter the amount shown. Tap Next, then confirm.
Check the address twice. If you send it to the wrong place, the money is gone forever. The payment page also expires — pay as soon as it opens.
4 Wait a few minutes
- As soon as your payment goes through, we get notified automatically.
- Within a few minutes, we’ll send you all the details for your order.
